The Marin FC United U18 boys division 1 team is in it's 8th year with the MVSC. Deejae Johnson started the 2006-07 season as the new Head Coach, taking over for Brad Agoos who was hired to be the head coach of the Seattle University Mens team.
 

   After playing in the Marin Mens League's and placing 4th in the "A" division over the summer, the U18's were on a break in the fall so the boys could play on their high school teams. 12 of the players play for local Marin Co. high schools. One player, Yusuf Hansia, plays for College of Marin.
 

Four of the boys helped the Marin Academy team win the BCL West and NCS Championship this year. MA finished the season ranked 7th in the USA on the NSCAA final season poll. Those players, Ben Denton-Schneider, Jacob Mergendoller, Jimmy Parrinello, and Wyatt Hayman were named to the First Team All League for the BCL with Ben D.S. also being named the "Player of the Year".
 

   In the Marin County Athletic League, Chris Stibich made the First Team All League, Juan Rodriguez, Sam Mejia, and Teddy Jones made the Second Team  All League, and Andy McGhie and Chris Campbell received an Honorable Mention. Liam Hughes captained the Branson team to an MCAL Championship but unfortunately was sidelined with injuries through most of the season.
 

   The U18's regrouped in mid November to prepare for the Nomads Thanksgiving Tournament held in San Diego, California where the boys won the Championship in their age group. They are now preparing to play in the District V winter playing league.
 

     As of early January, 5 boys have received early decision acceptances to attend and play soccer for colleges in the fall. Several other boys have  received early action offers to attend and play soccer from several colleges and will be  making final decisions in the next few months. To date, the following boys have accepted admissions to schools for the fall 2007:

Jacob Mergendoller - Wesleyan University

Jimmy Parrinello - University of Rochester

Taylor Amman - Stanford University
Wyatt Hayman - Oberlin College
