Additional Information

Game Day Team Formation

MVSC Professional Staff will be on hand each weekend to organize the game day teams and facilitate the games.  For any given cohort, they will divide the available players evenly to form 4-6 teams, and 2-3 games as volume of players allows.

MVSC is adopting this format of team organization to maximize the flexibility and playing time for all athletes.  Our goal is to organize the kids in a manner each weekend that provides an appropriate level of challenge while also maximizing playing time, with minimal time spent standing on the sidelines.  Because of historically reduced numbers in the Spring season, we want to avoid the scenario where one organized team has 12 players, and another team has 4, with a forced sharing of rosters on game day.  By not forming teams in advance, we anticipate the highest level of flexibility for achieving this goal.

Friends will still be able to play with and against each other, in a fun, collaborative (and competitive) atmosphere for all players.

Volunteer Parent Assistance

We welcome parents who may wish to assist on game days, primarily by managing substitutions (when applicable), assisting players with injuries, etc.  Any parent wishing to assist on the weekends should REGISTER AS A VOLUNTEER at the same time they register their child.
