Fall Recreational & Development Goalkeeper Clinics

MVSC is pleased to announce our 2021 Fall Goalkeeper Training Programs.  Our programs are designed to offer professional goalkeeper training and instruction to MVSC Recreational and Development players.  Clinics will help Goalkeepers build a solid foundation by teaching the basics of goalkeeping. Topics covered will include shot stopping, catching, aerial duels (air balls), distribution, footwork, and positioning. Each session will conclude with finishing on the goal in a game-like situation, while incorporating communication, positioning and technique.

Session 1:  Wednesdays at Friends Field #1.  5:00-6:30pm, 7 sessions, Sept. 15 - Oct. 27.  This session is for 7th and 8th Grade Recreational Goalkeepers.

Session 2:  Thursdays at Alto Field.  3:30-5:00pm.  8 sessions, Sept. 16 - Oct. 28.   This session is for 4th-6th Grade Recreational and Development Goalkeepers.

In the event of inclement weather, please check MVSC's home page after 2:45pm on the day of training to find out if the session is canceled.  In the event of cancelation, a make-up session will be added at the end of the program.
