MVSC is running a 1.5 hour Striker/Goalkeeper Clinic open to all players on MVSC 3rd-8th Grade Recreational Teams, as well as our Development League.  Our clinic is designed to provide participants with a fun, developmental training opportunity as a supplement to their team trainings and games during the fall season.  

FIELD PLAYERS

Our clinic's emphasis is on striking the soccer ball and finishing shots on goal.  Pro Coaches will guide participants through lots of repetitions creating and finishing shots in a variety of goal scoring situations (e.g., breakaways, finishing crosses, 1 v 1, 2 v 1, etc.).  All players -- regardless of the positions they may play in games -- will enjoy the training and benefit from improving their ball-striking technique while developing an attacking mentality.  The session will be technical and low intensity, with an emphasis on FUN!

GOALKEEPERS

Goalkeepers will receive professional coaching on positioning, shot-stopping, and technical and tactical components of goalkeeping.

SCHEDULE

Saturday, September 14:  6:00-7:30 @ Friends Field North

In the event of inclement weather, please check www.mvsc.org after 2:30pm on the day of training to find out if the field is open.  We will add a make-up session if any session is canceled due to field closure.

WHO COACHES?  

Our Clinic will be staffed by highly experienced MVSC professional coaches.

COST  

$15 per clinic

Drop-ins:

In order to ensure appropriate Staffing, players cannot drop-in to our Clinic.

WHAT TO BRING?  

Participants should bring a soccer ball, water bottle, cleats, shin guards, and a desire to work hard and improve!

$10 Administrative fee for all refunds.
