Spring Goalkeeper Clinic

MVSC is pleased to announce our 2019 Spring Goalkeeper Training Programs.  Our programs are designed to offer professional goalkeeper training and instruction to MVSC Recreational, Development and Competitive players.  Clinics will help Goalkeepers build a solid foundation by teaching the basics of goalkeeping. Technical and tactical topics covered will include shot stopping, catching, aerial duels (air balls), distribution, footwork, communication, 1v1 decision making, diving, tipping, and positioning.

Goalkeeper Clinics (birth year 2002-2008)

Session:  Tuesdays at Bayfront. 6-7:15 pm, 8 sessions, March 12th-May 7. For birth years 2002-2006 Goalkeepers.  Cost = $180

In the event of inclement weather, please check MVSC's home page after 2:45pm on the day of training to find out if the session is canceled.  In the event of cancelation, a make-up session will be added at the end of the program.

Space is limited to participate in our fall GK program.  If we hit our enrollment caps, additional players will be placed on a waitlist.

Daily Drop-ins are not permitted.

$20 Administrative fee for all refunds.

PROFESSIONAL GOALKEEPING TRAINER:

MVSC is thrilled to have Kellis Johnson back as our Professional Goalkeeper Trainer.  Kellis played goalkeeper for Marin Catholic High School (where she broke several goalkeeper records she still holds today), and later for Colorado University's Division 1 Women's program.  Kellis has coached and trained youth and college goalkeepers for the past 12 years.  She is currently the Goalkeeper Coach at Dominican University and Branson High School.  She holds USSF D and E licenses and the NSCAA Goalkeeper Diploma.
